3.1 Translation Process: English-name spelling requests check offline data first. Unmatched names, custom-name answers, and Chinese-to-English translation requests are sent to our AI service for processing. The result is returned to your browser.

3.2 Local Storage Only: Your translation history (up to 3 recent results per translation mode) is saved locally in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.

3.3 Zodiac Calculations: The birth date you enter in the Chinese zodiac calculator is processed entirely in your browser. It is never sent to our server, our AI provider, or any third party, and it is not stored after you leave the page.

3.4 Our Storage Practices: We do not intentionally save submitted names or translation results in our own application database. Requests are processed in real time, although our hosting and AI service providers may process or retain limited data under their own terms and privacy policies.

5.1 AI Translation Service: We use DeepSeek's AI API for unmatched name spellings, custom name generation, and Chinese-to-English translation. For custom name generation, the answers you give in the preference questions are sent to DeepSeek; your original name is included only if you choose to share it. Details sent to DeepSeek may be processed or retained in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy practices. Offline name matches do not call DeepSeek. Please avoid submitting sensitive, confidential, or legally protected information.

5.2 Web Hosting: Our website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process request data and standard web server logs as necessary to host and secure the Service, subject to its own privacy practices.

5.3 Social Sharing: If you choose to share translation results on social media, you are subject to those platforms' privacy policies.

5.4 Advertising Partners: We display advertising on some pages, served by third-party advertising networks (including Google advertising products). These partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies when serving ads. See Section 6.5 for details.

We also use session storage to carry a name you looked up into the custom name form as a prefill. Both remain on your device; session storage is cleared when you close the browser tab, and local data can be cleared by you at any time.
